Local,indegenous materials in the Queen of Texas Bed include mesquite from the Texas hill country and highly figured walnut from a tree that was blown over by Hurricane Ike, highlighted in an original, timeless design that draws on influences from the neo-classical to arts & crafts. The finials on top of the posts are turned from Gabon ebony; solid wood throughout.
